That aint a problem anymore. The reason why you could is because Windows XP Secuity Pack 2 deleted AutoExec.nt, which was the read-only file for MS-DOS. If you want to use MS-DOS again then all you can do is simply download the file. If your not an Windows XP user then you shouldn't do this. Extract the file autoexec.nt in your system location folder. Default location: C:/windows/system32 Dowload AutoExec.nt here www.oldmp.com/forms/download/xp-sp2-fix.zip

i recommend you copy the autoexec.nt from your system folder to your system32 folder....but im not sure if everyone has one in their system folder
